Microsoft Windows executable
This distribution consists of a single installationless executable known as a starpack. That means installation consists of downloading the executable and running it. If you ever want to uninstall, then just delete the executable. It's that simple. Here it is step-by-step:
- Download the file tkoutline-0.93.exe
- Execute the application by double clicking on it from Windows explorer
- Select "User Manual" from the Help menu for usage instructions
Platform independent starkit distribution
If you run a non-Microsoft Operating System, then there are 2 files to download. Still no installation involved. To uninstall, just delete the 2 files.
- Download the platform independent starkit, tkoutline-0.93.kit.
- Download the single file tclkit executable for your platform from http://www.equi4.com/pub/tk/
- From a shell prompt, type tclkit tkoutline-0.93.kit
- Select "User Manual" from the Help menu for usage instructions
Platform independent source code distribution
If you already have Tcl/Tk installed, or you want to see the source code (the source code is contained within both the starkit and starpack distributions, but you need a special tool from sdx to extract it), then download this distribution.
- Download the file tkoutline-0.93.tar.gz
- Extract the files from the archive.
- From a shell prompt type wish tkoutline-0.93/bin/tkoutline.tcl
- Select "User Manual" from the Help menu for usage instructions.
