1. Change comment to "It would be better if the $manifest_version variable returned only the version and not the surrounding square brackets. Then it could be used eg <a href="http://fossil-scm.org/index.html/vinfo/$manifest_version">[$manifest_version]</a> Or perhaps another variable $clean_manifest_version? Or perhaps there is an easy way to strip the square brackets in <th1>?"
2. Change severity to "Cosmetic"
3. Change status to "Open"
4. Change title to "square brackets in $manifest_version are a problem"
5. Change type to "Feature_Request"
