- Change comment to "Many proxy servers require authentication. For example, my http_proxy environment variable is: http://jack:pa$$w0rd@web.proxy.bigcorp.com:9800 Fossil doesn't appear to support proxies that require authentication at this time. I know there are many different schemes for proxy authentication, but supporting "basic" authentication shouldn't be too hard."
